Videography is a powerful tool to connect with your audience, tell a story artistically, grow your brand, and stand out from the crowd, but it can feel overwhelming to learn the FOUNDATIONS of filmmaking all on your own. So I've made it really simple!
Hello my friend,
I'm Stephanie. My Videography 101 guide is just like a chat with a good friend over coffee. I've taken all the questions I frequently get asked from my mentees and created this straightforward, easy to read guide, packed with information that's right to the point, designed to save you time and help you avoid the pitfalls of learning everything from scratch. This is the guide I wish I had at the beginning of my career.
Imagine transforming your business with stunning, professional videos that set you apart online, and give viewers more confidence in YOU. This guide is here to help you make that vision a reality.
This guide includes all the gear and tech knowledge I used to build a thriving videography business where I'm not a slave to social media. My work speaks for itself. This guide lists the gear and knowledge that's at the foundation of my successful film career. You too can use video to build a successful business, and sprinkle the planet with your message. FAQ:
Are you teaching how you edit videos? This guide contains links to great editing tutorials, and my favorite luts, transitions, sounds, and music, but does not go in depth about my specific editing style. I give the foundation of my work.
Is this guide a video course? How is the guide structured? This is a PDF guide with clickable links. I give advice and teach with images and bullet points throughout the guide. My goal is to give you as much info as possible in the fastest way possible, so I chose to not make this a video course. You can digest all the info so much faster this way!
Is this for beginners? Beginner to intermediate, or anyone curious about my work flow.
Is this for iPhone? This guide was created for Mirrorless or DSLR camera users, however, some lessons can be applied to an iPhone.
Is this like a mentorship? Yes! As I mentored students, I noticed the same questions being asked, so I packaged them all up for you!
Are you teaching posing and guiding the subject? Not in this guide, but I hope to create that next.
Does this guide include artistry lessons, storytelling, and emotional connection? No, this is the masculine, structured part of my business. The feminine artistry and emotional storytelling is for another course or guide. Maybe in person?
What is the return policy? All sales are final due to the digital nature of this course.
