Did you know that lilacs are edible, and they carry a beautiful, soft, feminine essence?
People have even used lilacs to help aid in digestion and reduce fevers.
Lilac Tea Recipe
Harvest a small bundle of lilacs for 1 cup of tea. I don't measure this, I go by what feels right, but I'd say 2 bundles per cup of tea.
Pluck the buds and place in a bowl.
Rinse with water to remove any bugs or dirt.
Boil water in a kettle.
Place buds in a jar, pour hot water over buds and immerse.
Put a lid over the jar to contain the tea as it steeps.
Steep for 5-10 minutes.
Strain into a cup.
Serve with honey, and enjoy.
